Northern Construction Service, LLC is a Massachusetts based General Contractor specializing in bridge construction, site work, marine construction, concrete work and utilities. Northern has projects throughout New England and New York. John L. DiVito and John N. Rahkonen founded Northern in 1996 and since then the company has experienced steady growth, along with a reputation for quality workmanship.

From the very beginning their unique talents and experience has been the driving force in creating a company with the reputation of responsible ownership and which finds creative solutions for delivering a finished product built to last. As a result we have many clients who have used our services repeatedly throughout the years, as well as referring us to others. We embrace challenging projects allowing our employees to utilize their special talents and we take great pride in delivering a quality, finished product.

Our clients include Federal, State and Municipal agencies as well as private industrial and utility organizations.  Northern is pre-qualified with numerous agencies and we maintain excellent relationships with many engineering companies, our bonding and insurance companies along with our bank and vendors.
